Card Corner

Jaimini and her husband have run Card Corner since 2007. You can buy personalised gifts like a mug with a photo of a special day, a loved one's name or even bring your own wine or perfume which Jaimini and her husband will wrap in a special hamper. She moved to Kent but came back to open the shop because "I like the people here, they are very loyal and nice to us"

Alice McCabe Flowers

Local artist and florist Alice McCabe has a beautiful selection of bouquets available for local delivery. With fifteen years experience as a florist, she works to make flowers a more accessible, sociable and sustainable art form. “I find the combinations of colour and form, alongside the manual labour really satisfying, and the interaction with local community adds a lovely sociable element alongside my own studio practice,” says Alice.

Howard Bros

Arjan Rabadia will help with all your DIY needs - as small as a half inch nail or as long as 4 metres of guttering. Arjan’s and his family have run Howard Bros for 19 years. He opened his first shop, a sweet shop, in Camberwell in 1985 .Lockdown led to lots of people redecorating, good for paint sales. With spring coming folks are starting to stock up on garden tools says Arjan with his trademark grin.

Brights Stationers

Vish Patel beams as he reopens Brights Stationers after lockdown. His aunt and uncle who own the shop sit behind the counter and greet old customers. And the most popular item? “Scanning lots of labels for people returning what they bought in lockdown!“ says Vish.
