Sophocles Bakery

Since 2003 owner George Galiotzakis has worked from 6am to 11 pm producing a dozen different breads, including the popular round sesame seed loaf Polytelias. They have 10 varieties of Greek pastries from Baklava to almond cake, 27 types of sponge cake, and no fewer than 22 different biscuits.

Denmark Hill Fruit and Veg Stall

Keely Watson's family have worked on Covent Garden Market for generations. For the last 18 months Keely has been providing Camberwell with grade A fruit and veg from her stall next to Denmark Hill Station. Kings workers are some of her main customers - "They work so hard for us" she says . Hours Tuesday to Friday 6.30am to 1.30pm.
