Sonya came to the UK from Saigon in 1982 with her family recipe for pho, the delicious aromatic beef broth that is sold all over Vietnam from street vendors to luxury restaurants. She now makes it every Saturday for Camberwellians. Hospital staff drop in for the pho with spiced pork or tofu banh mi -baguettes with pickled carrot, coriander, cucumber and chili.
